This is the worse hospital , many of the employees there were fooling around at the time i was in the ER. I was there for 5 hours , wasted my time just for them to provide me with medicine i could of gotten. The escort there are on their phones & take more than 40 mins just to escort you into another room. When it wasn't even busy. Some of the nurses there, are unsure of what they are doing which is terrible. I just hope , they set up & actually start doing their work & provide many patients with more help. Seeing this makes me disappointed, since I'll be becoming a nurse as well .. but a better one than all of them there probably.
I was in a vehicle accident and taken to nyack hospital where I was met by a very caring and experienced staff that checked me over from top to Bottom immediately sent me for x rays and cat scans. Doctor explained results carefully made sure I understood. They made sure I re and took good care of me made sure I ate I was very pleased larger hospitals could take lessons to how prompt and professional this hospital is.
Waited for over an hr to even see anyone in the ER. There were very few if any in the waiting room. Seemed like a very low census night yet we were not tended to. Staff your ER better. This is pathetic. Rockland is limited. Find another hospital guys. Nyack Hospital....do better.
my wife Lauren gave birth to each of our 6 beautiful children here, they stitched her up real well. can't even tell she gave birth to that many!! highly recumbent great staff and bed side manor.
Security at front desk takes forever to check you in as they do not know English alphabet. Then they ask all of the party for and ID to go visit a patient. Then Prepare to be in 3rd world class hospital. Walls, floors and all are dirty. It looks discusting.
